+
It’s best to wait 24 hours to avoid dispersing the product. We'll give you full aftercare instructions.
Can I wash my hair after PRP?
+
Yes, you can gently wash your hair the next day using a mild shampoo.
What should I do/avoid before my laser treatment?
+
Before your laser treatment, the following pre-care instructions apply: Avoid use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs like Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen or any other Non-Tylenol, Non-Acetaminophen product) for 2 weeks prior to treatment to minimize the potential for bruising, unless the medications involved are prescribed for the treatment of an existing medical condition; Avoid use of photosensitizing medication or drugs; Do not stop prescribed medications, but inform your treatment provider or any medications (including over-the-counter) medications that you take; Inform your provider or any recent medications that were taken in the last 2-3 weeks; Stop all topical acids (like glycolic, alpha or beta hydroxy, and salicylic acids) and retinoids/retin-A or other like products for 3 days prior to treatment; Avoid any prolonged exposure to the sun 2 weeks before the treatment. If you must be in the sun use a zinc oxide sunscreen of at least SPF 40 and reapply as directed; Avoid artificial tans 2-4 weeks prior to treatment. We cannot treat over artificial tans; Arrive at your appointment with clean skin. There should be no lotion, makeup, perfume, powder, bath or shower oil, or artificial/spray tans present on the areas being treated.
What should I do/avoid after my laser treatment?
+
You may notice mild erythema (redness) for several hours post treatment; If feeling warm, cool compresses or ice packs can provide comfort after treatment, but are generally not necessary; Post procedure products may be recommended by your provider and generally include a gentle cleanser, post procedure cream, and sunscreen. Avoid harsh products (such as topical acids/retinols) for 3-5 days after the treatment; Avoid any prolonged exposure to the sun 2 weeks after the treatment. If you must be in the sun use a zinc oxide sunscreen of at least SPF 40 and reapply as directed. Avoiding sun exposure and tanning is crucial to avoid hyperpigmentation or darkening of the skin. It is important to avoid overexposure to the sun immediately after a procedure since the skin is fragile and more susceptible to pigmentation changes and scarring; Avoid heat-based activities (such as saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs) and exercise for 24 hours after the treatment.
What should I do/avoid after Botox?
+
After any Neuromodulator injections: No straining, heavy lifting, vigorous exercising, stay upright for 4-5 hours following yout treatment. No tight hats, visors, glasses, or goggles for 24 hours post treatment. Avoid manipulation of the area the day of your treatment- this includes doing facials, peels, or micro-dermabrasion after your treatment. Refrain from facial waxing, threading, or massage where you may have to place your face in a donut hole pillow. No saunas, steam, or jacuzzi baths after your treatment. Facial exercises at the injected areas are recommended for up to 4 hours following the treatment as discussed at the time of your service.
When will I see results after Botox/other Neuromodulators?
+
Results will begin to be visible 3-5 days after treatment and can take up to 2 weeks to achieve full effect. If the desires effect was not achieved after 2 weeks, an enhancement appointment may be required.
What should I do/avoid after Dermal Fillers?
+
After receiving Dermal Fillers, application of an ice pack or cold compress to the injection area after treatment may help reduce swelling. If swelling or redness persists, please contact our office. It is normal to feel firmness at the injected area for the first few days after treatment. Over time, the area will soften, resulting in a natural-looking outcome. You may return to your normal activities the following day after your treatment. Makeup may be applied 24 hours after treatment if no complications are present, while using gentle application. The injection area may be gently washed a few hours after treatment. Avoid aggressive scrubbing or rubbing. Do not use skin care products with active ingredients of glycolic acid, retinol, vitamin C, or salicylic acid for 24 hours after treatment. Refrain from facial waxing, threading, or massaging where you have to place your face in a donut hole pillow. No saunas, steam, or jacuzzi baths for 24 hours after treatment.
