Your visit.
Our expert injector will cleanse your skin and map the injection sites to achieve the improvements you envision. A topical numbing cream may be applied to make treatment more comfortable. Sculptra is injected deeper into the skin structure with multiple small injections to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and folds.
Recovery
After.
Most patients return to their normal activities immediately after their Sculptra injections. There may be some swelling, bruising, and other mild side effects, which should subside within a few days. To speed your recovery:
- Apply cold packs to the treatment areas within the first 24 hours.
- Massage the treated areas several times a day for a few days after treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds until any redness and swelling have resolved.
- No alcohol 48 hours prior to injection (increases swelling and bruising).
- No exercise for 48 hours after to minimize bruising and swelling.
